A Chapter a Day Keeps Temptation Away!

Hey mom and dad whats happenin?!?! I hope everything is going well! This week was pretty good! We were a little down in numbers but those weeks happen and so we are trying our best still and hopefully we can bump our numbers back up! So you met elder Clyde eh?! That's cool that he got you guys flowers! I gave him some money before he left and told him to buy some flowers from me :D So I'm glad he did! he is a cool kid.. lol He kinda flaked out on me while he was here but hrrrp oh well I don't care lol.

Well lets see we had our interviews with pres and everything went well. I was the last one to go and he was going to be late for a dentist appt so he was like, "Elder Penman how are you doing?" I said good and he goes did you have anything you wanted to talk to me about and I had two questions for him so I asked them. He answered them and then said well keep up the good work... and that was it. lol! Like 3 minutes and he hasn't even checked my planner the last two times. I think he must trust me or something cause he checks everyone's planner. But ya this week wasn't too exciting... I kinda have mixed feelings about this coming week. I am way super excited about conference but I want to know if I am staying or leaving... I think I am staying so ima work my butt off still this week. But.. I dunno. I guess I just want to know if I'm going or not! :D

But anyways I'm glad you guys always have a good time with Shannon! Keep her around would ya! She is way too freaking hot to let go! :D LOL!! No but she is my best friend! I just love her! So keep hanging out with her cause I'm pretty sure she will be around for a while.

Wow I am really sorry to hear about mike... That's too bad really! It makes my heart go out to his family for having such a strong testimony in the gospel! Tell them that I love them! And give them all a hug from me! Seriously that sucks to hear! Let me know how they are doing. I don't know how people can get so much thrown onto their plate and deal with it so well... That family is just amazing! Holy cow. Isn't it amazing to see how powerful the gospel is and how true it really is!?

Well I'm pretty sure I already told you guys when transfers were but I will tell you again. The 7th is the actual transfer and the 4th we get our calls... so the 6th I will be telling you if I'm staying or leaving. Oh and mom I do want boots for Christmas but I haven't found any here so maybe go check that place out. See if they got any good ones that will polish up nicely that pretty much look like church shoes but they are boots. Meh I know you will do just fine. :D You always do! Well geez I hope you guys are ok! Tell everyone that I love them and that the church is true! There is just no other way. Simply no other way. Keep reading your scrips!!! A chapter a day keeps temptation away!!! :D Well I love you guys so much! Have a good week! Go BYU! go 49ers! LOVE YA!!

Sounds like he's having a blast! I hope he gets the boots he wants for Christmas--They sound like they might cost a lot to ship though--with his feet being so huge!

Uhhh...the last time I checked...it was against the church policy to be on blogger at all!!! I'd LOVE to communicate with my little bro out there in the mission field too, but he aparently follows the rules...it'd SUCK if someone called the mission home there in Spokanne, WA!!!!!!
DO THE RIGHT THING....DELETE IT BUDDY.....Does your comp think you are such a whiner, cry baby, boob for having to talk to your mommy and daddy through the internet everyday? Don't ya think you should be using your time a little better, like, I dunno....ACTUALLY SERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! DORK

To Anonymous: This missionary has never seen this blog! Do you really think that the missionary himself is doing this blogging? It is purely to update and inform friends and family of the missionary while he is away. He sends the letters: we post the letters. Please don't judge others if you don't have the proper information. It is sad that you feel it your duty to take upon yourself the righteous occupation of telling others what is right and what is wrong.

I am glad to see that we have righteous people out there who are willing to take the time to enforce church policy. Policing rogue missionaries with blogs must be a full time job. Good for you. Judging people you don't know, and without all the facts is a great way to represent the church. LOL... its a good thing you chose to remain anonymous. In the meantime why don't you just chill a little, worry about yourself, and let us enjoy the letters from our FANTASTIC missionary (posted by friends and family, for friends and family) without the commentary from the peanut gallery =)
Thanks!

I think it is awesome that you are maintaining this blog for your cute missionary. Keep up the GREAT work!

It is too bad that there are those out there that open their big mouths before they use their pea brains. If they had any understanding they would realize that this blog is put together and used by people that care about Elder P. I am sure he has never seen it. thanks for letting us know how righteous you are and thank goodness the church has people like you to help police all of the missionaries out there serving. Oh and by the way next time you have something negitive to say grow a set and keep it to yourself. It's easy to hide behind anonymus. Sorry Shanni but i think you do a great job with the blog keep up the good work. We Love you

Dear Anonymous:

I have permanently deleted you from my address book. To take a page from your tirade: WA!!!!!!
DO THE RIGHT THING....DELETE IT BUDDY....And so I did. And all was right with the world.

It must be terribly lonely on the pedestal where you've placed yourself.
