No Pictures Yet!

Well I am LOVIN the new place! :) Its huge! I have to say that I am VERY sorry that I don't have pictures of it yet though! I should by now but I have been slacking! Please forgive me I will get them to ya soon enough. I will however send you a bracelet that one of the Brennan girls made for me. You can wear it on your ankle :) Its not that they like us, its just that the missionaries have changed their lives so much that they don't know how to repay them and so they just do random nice things for us every once in a while. They have given me a few ties already! But anyway, I like the bracelet. So I've picked up on something new...Elder Clyde taught me how to crochet! Its way sweet and its also very relaxing! It helps you to wind down at night, and he crochets like scarves and beanies. So you never know someday you might get a scarf or something...if so what 3 colors would you want to go together in it? So elder Clyde got all of his stuff and so I have 2 tape recorders and some blank tapes and so feel free to send me a tape! ASAP BABY! So tell me how the Olympics are going... I hear that it was by far the best opening ceremonies ever done by anyone...what are your thoughts? SO you didn't say anything about me and your parents going to dinner...let me know because I will ask but if you can't be there I would still love to go to dinner with your parents! So you didn't like the letter that Carissa got from Elder Clyde? LOL what was wrong with it? I thought it was pretty funny myself! Did she get upset or what? Well I don't think you should be stressing about math class...I know you will be just fine! Oh and just so you know it wasn't the girls that you mentioned about going to the concert with that I didn't approve of...it was the guys that you didn't mention!! :) LOL I'm j/k! But yes if I was home and you went with them I might hrrrrp! But while I am out here I want you to get out like that! So I hope that it was fun! Tell granny Gen happy birthday from me! Those two are so dang cool its not even funny! In fact, that's close to first on the list when I get home (not being trunky at all) is going down to St. George and spending some time with them! So wait, Meri is a waitress at Applebees?! Why wasn't she working there while I was there!? I would have much rather her get my tips than anyone else! LOL well I was just looking over this letter and I realized how sloppy my handwriting has been! Hey!

how are you guys?!?! well i am doing fabulous! things are moving along in the mission! oh man well i am way excited that shel and Tyler and Logan are going to be in Utah that's going to be fun for everyone! you guys better take lots of pics and send em to me.. so we got are all moved in but i still don't know the official address to my house and so just keep sending things to the other address until i tell ya a new one cause they are like 2 mins away and they will just run it over to me :D well this week was a little slower but we still had some cool things happen! elder Clyde has to start rounding all of his things up so that he can send stuff home and get packed and so he is starting to realize that he is going home and he is getting a little trunky but not near as
bad as all of the other elders in my district that still have a while to go.. but anyways he still wants to work and so that's what we are going to keep doing!! i am getting a little nervous to take over the area though but i know that i can.. Elder Clyde is way cool and I'm gonna miss him but that's ok he has taught me a lot and if i can just become the missionary that he is then i will
be very happy! well lets see this week we started teaching a young couple (married) and they have a 2 month old son and they are pretty much golden their names are Tessa and Jacob and their sons name is Jacob also and they are pretty much church shopping because they want to raise Jacob with some religious background and so we are very excited about them so pray that they will keep their commitments and be home when we go over :D I would appreciate te it :D lol well lets see mom I do understand that Hobo's are very dangerous spiders but do you think i want to breed some wussy spiders?!?! NO WAY! only the strong survive out here mom! :D lol but we caught another one and her name is Suzy and Suzy went in a little pissed off at the world and killed all of the other spiders... (even stuck) and so that's ok too because like i said getting into this spider breeding business i knew that only the strong would survive so i was going to
have to deal with a little loss once in a while... but don't worry mom i will take pics of the tank we keep em in... they are actually in a garage that doesn't have power too it so it kinda sets the tone for the whole spider breeding thing... you know dark and a little scary :D you have to go in there with your flashlight :D lol if it makes you feel any better though we caught a black widow too and we are going to keep her in a separate place :D along with the e other 50 black widows that live in that garage :D i love the new place though! i wont complain about the beds cause i know James will be like please he should have slept on the ground in Mexico but the members house we moved out of spoiled us with AWESOME beds and now our beds suck really bad and so I'm just not used to it yet :D and i would just sleep on the floor but there are quite a few hobos in our house lol :D well dad i hope football is going good! we went over to some less active's house and the vikings were playing the seahawks maybe?... i dunno but anyways it almost made me cry lol! if anything i hope football season just goes by fast so that i wont have to be tempted :D lol! but i hope you guys are looking good for this year! you will have to keep me up to date! well lets see i
don't know if anything too exciting happened this week but i love you guys so much and keep reading your scriptures! show heavenly father where your heart is and he will pour out blessings upon you! i can promise you that! i love you guys so much have a ton of fun with shel and Tyler and tell everyone to write me and tell the grandparents that i love them!!! oh and good news i stepped on the scale today and i lost 5 lbs. so go ahead and send me goodies again lol! :D i love you guys! have a good week! take care and whap dad in the nuts for not writing me :D!

A Very Busy Week

Hello there! How are you?! I hope you are doing alright and enjoying life! Thank you for the wonderful letter! I enjoyed it a lot! ( I enjoy every single one of your letters). Well so I thought I could interpret dreams pretty good but I'm going to have to think about that one! Well sorry no pictures again...we moved out all of our stuff today and we were just way busy and so we didn't get to do hardly anything today...so sorry I will get some for next week though that are of our new place! Oh and I'm not quite sure of the exact address of our new place yet so feel free to send mail to the same place, they are just a block away! LOL so Caitlin Brennan is 18 and yep you know I love Pocahontas! Don't you remember me telling you how cute she was during the whole movie? :) So you really think I would address your letter to Shannon Wilcox Clyde?!? Cause that definitely wasn't me! Elder Clyde was very stealthy in writing that on there before we dropped them into the mail box...but see that doesn't even sound good... :) Okay so I have been thinking a lot about the dinner situation when you and your family come out here...I talked to elder Clyde about it and obviously I would have to ask pres. but he said that if I'm working really hard and show pres I am diligent then he might let me go with you there...Now I don't think he would have a problem with just your parents taking me out to dinner and in fact I would love it if they did! I don't want to cut into any of their vacation time though so that is up to them but I love your parents and I would love to see them! You also of course, but we will just have to see how things go....personally I don't think it would be a problem for me because I am very dedicated to the work and nothing is getting in the way of that, but! If it would be hard for you then I wouldn't want you to be there..if that makes sense...hopefully you understand what I'm getting at here! So ya, its crazy to think I've been gone for three months! It definitely doesn't seem like it! I hope ( now don't take this the wrong way) that the rest of it doesn't go by this fast because I have a lot of work to do! :) LoL I like to think of myself as Ammom also! It would be way fun to whack people's arms off! Things have been a little crazy this week but we had a way cool experience with Sandy ( an investigator). She is going through a lot in her life right now and she was very stressed and what not. We went over to her place and we were comforting her and at the same time being very bold with what God would want her to do in her life and so we got talking to her about coming to church and after a while she wasn't responding very well. So we just kept telling her more and I talked to her about Alma 32 where he compares faith to a seed and how if it is a good seed when you plant it, it will grow. Well after a while she says you know I have been to two other christian churches and neither of them worked for me. Elder Clyde said well that's because this is the true church and I said remember the seed we talked about, you planted those and they didn't grow. I then promised her that if she planted this seed that it would grow. We both bore our testimonies to her about church and how it has helped us in our lives and she started crying. She also had a big smile on her face and told us that something weird just happened to me...I feel really happy and I don't understand why. She was like, I feel really good but its a weird good...( a few times before this we talked about the holy ghost and she told us that she had never felt it before). So after she was telling us about this happiness she was feeling I told her that it was the holy ghost that she was feeling. It was so amazing! I love you! Take care and have a good week!

Hey!

hey so whats going on?!?! yes mom i got the crystal light that you sent and i have to tell you THANKS! :D i love that stuff! lol but ya it makes sense for me to just buy it but i couldn't find that kind so thanks! so we got all moved into our new place today! it is so sweet i swear! we are like kings now! i will send pics but along with our new house i got a pet! yep i bet you cant guess what it is.... well its a hobo spider! :D her name is "stuck" (because i caught her in a sticky trap) but we got a 55 gallon aquarium that we put her in! and today we found her 3 more hobo friends... we are hoping she will breed with a black widow ( the guy version) and then they will have little black Wobos :D we caught some grasshoppers to feed stuck and she is really healthy and well off :D but our new place is so sweet! and no i don't think i will get moved because that would mean that they would sweep a way good area which they wont because i know the area and the ward likes me and so elder Clyde thinks that i will get "mom'ed" (they give you a crappy missionary for a transfer and kinda give them a second chance to change...) and then he thinks i will train here and so i could be here for a good 9 months... which would be freaking sweet! well mom i am glad that you got that phone call! her name was Ericka she is only 14 and her mom thinks that we have crushes on her but hrrrrp and so when we call her house we talk to her through her mom on the phone and the only reason we have to call Ericka is because she is fellow shipping one of our investigators... but ya they are way nice and i tried to get her to call you a few days before that cause they were in west Jordan and i wanted you to send some ties home with her for me :D lol but its ok they are a way cool family "The Adkins"... well dad hang in there on your new clubs! it will come... hey so at church this week we had testimony meeting and it was way freaking sweet Willis and Candice Brennan (2 recent converts) bear their testimonies! it was awesome! (just a funny note i looked over just barely and there was a dog humping a cat!!!) LOL!!! holy crap that was funny! oh my goodness! i cant even think now! LOLOL oh man well i love you guys! the primary sent me letters! it was way cool... well i hope you guys have a good week and thanks for everything i love you guys! let me know how your scripture reading is going!!!! don't avoid the subject! :D good luck with football starting! that makes me excited and i wont even be there! take care! love ya!!!!! It Came!

Hey!
Whats happenin? Oh my goodness I am so glad that you got the Great Harvest job! I hope you enjoy it! So your co worker wrote Elder Clyde and I was so excited to see that you got someone to write Elder Clyde that I read it before he did! LOL. Well I pretty much think that you should have punched that Russian crapola of a teacher in the face! It's a good thing I wasn't there or when she asked you that I would have asked her if she knew how to speak English! :) So I decided that Conner and Brynlee are my new favorite niece and nephew! Woohoo! I loved those pictures though! Sorry I didn't send you any pics last week and that I sent it late and that I am sending this late again! I wanted to wait to respond to a letter but next time I will just write on Monday so it gets out on Tuesday so you can start to enjoy Thursday once again! :) I love you! I am so glad that you went to my family party! I can't wait to see the look on Cam's face when we are both there at my grandma's and he comes walking in late :) It will be great! So I would pretty much love a picture of your primary class but just make sure that you are in it! Well you don't have to worry about me keeping the stuff that you send me...OF COURSE I will keep all of that stuff! How could I not? You are too special for me to throw that stuff away. So we are moving out of here soon into what we call the mansion! :) It is a duplex and we will have everything we ever wanted now! I will send you pics once we move in but don't worry just send mail to the same address until I give you a new one we will be like 30 seconds away from where we live now so the members we are with now will make sure that I get my mail :) No worries! Well I hope your work it going great! Mine is going pretty good! Last Saturday we found 5 new investigators, but they are 5 different families so it could turn into 10-12 new investigators once we start teaching the whole family...So we are going to be pretty dang busy this week! So thank you for all of your prayers it really helps! Next time you write I want you to tell me something that you have learned in your scripture study and then I will do the same! If it is fun then we can continue! Well I love you so much and I am glad that you are staying happy and active and not just sitting around being mopey! hey how are you guys doing?!?! I'm glad that you had fun on your little trip and i hope dad likes his new golf clubs! we just got done golfing :D ya i sucked pretty bad but so do the clubs i was using :D well this week was way fun and holy cow i did my fair share of tracting this week... but you know if you hold out strong the lord always blesses you! i got sent on exchanges to an area where well nothing is going on really and so for 4 good hours of the day we tracted and we got 1 return appt and i don't even think they got back to them yet... but! on Saturday we had some elders come up to our area and we kinda did a blitz and we not only got some return appts but we got 5 new investigators! so pray for them to be home!!!!!! we will hopefully be teaching a lot this week! and so hopefully that means quite a few baptisms in august! so transfers again are August 26Th i believe.. somewhere around there give or take a few days... but anyways we are moving out of our members house sometime this month... because this other lady in our ward has an EMPTY duplex that she is willing to let us move into! YAY! its sweet it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a kitchen and even a garage!!!! :D i know those darn spoiled stateside missionaries!!! lol but ya so hopefully sometime this month we will be moving into it! and by this month i mean august... but ya so zone conference is on Friday! and holy cow it seems like we were just at zone conference... but time is just flying by for me! i hope it is for you guys too! it seems like just yesterday that we were at the Belgian waffle on our way to the mtc :D but its crazy i wonder who my next comp is going to be.... Elder Clyde's guess is someone who is a slacker but has potential and i will have to light a fire under their butt.... which is fine with me.. i can do that :D well mom i hope you had a wonderful birthday! that made me laugh so hard thinking of you and dad just jumping into bed and him starting to laugh because he is thinking about you hunched over with grey hair!! lol that is way funny! I'm sorry mom that we all hammered ya on being old but.... you know... 64 is getting up there.. :D lol i love ya mom! hmm well i hate emailing at these computers cause i have such a short time that i cant think of everything that happened to me this week! OHHH! we were walking to our car one night and we saw 2 of our recent converts and so we went and were talking to them on the side of the road and this guy pulls up in this SUV and yells at us hey! and so we walked over to his car and ok he has his 10-12 year old daughter in the passenger seat and he has her window down and he is yelling at us right... she was scared to death and it was kinda sad but anyways he goes. so whats 144,000 and we are like a number? lol no but like what do you want to know about it? and so anyways he wouldn't tell us his views on things and so we kept giving him short simple answers and he hated it. he was like you guys are out teaching the word and you don't even know the word!!! and we are like ok well we are out you know teaching what Christ taught.. and he is like what is that?!! and we are like faith.. repentance.. Baptism.. the gift of the holy ghost.. and enduring to the end.. ya we believe in the 144,000 that they do have a role but we don't teach eat and so elder Clyde got mad for once and it was so funny! lol and this guy just wanted to have a deep discussion but he doesn't even know the basics.. elder Clyde started o ff being nice and calling him sir and stuff but by the end he was calling him buddy! and i was laughing and the guy got mad at me because i was laughing at him and so Clyde was teaching him about milk before meat.. Christ didn't have his apostles go teach about deep stuff you know.. start with the basics.. and I'm like yep but Christ taught to pull over and harass people didn't he?.. cause this guy was bashing our work and so he gets this deeray look on his face and sits there for a minute and goes wwwwwell enjoy your milk! and floors in and almost gets in a wreck cause he didn't even look if cars were coming... lol!!!! it was so funny but elder Clyde was mad for like 2 days!! lol :D i mean his daughter and our rc's didn't need to see that but if they hadn't of been there we (elder Clyde) would have slammed him pretty hard.. it was a joke.. but anyways lol i thought that was pretty funny. well i love you guys so much! take care of yourselves! and keep reading your scrips!
