Elder Goob is Doing Great!

Hey how are you doing this week? So how has the weather been in Utah? It has surely warmed up here! So what is this blog I am hearing all about? You're not putting me on display on the Internet are you? LOL You know that if you do that your blog will get so overloaded with people/girls that my pictures wont even be able to load right? LOL j/k. So what is it all about? I want to see it! What's on it? Tell me all about it OK! So what have you been doing lately? Anything fun? This week we put our baking skills to the test because we had to make a cake for this less active lady because it was her birthday! We went over to her house on her birthday and didn't have anything for her but we saw she had a Costco cake and so when we left we were like we could do better than that! So we went home and made her a cake and frosted it and everything. We wrote on it, "Costco cake Sucks." LOL It was awesome and it was funfetti so it was pretty much the best cake ever!And so when you look at it you aren't going to believe that we made it, but it was. Elder Clyde wrote on the cake! I think me and him should start a business... we are pretty much better than any of the stinking sister missionaries. All they do is sit around and bake cookies and cakes to take to people! Pretty much worthless! :) LOL So this church always puts up signs and we took a picture of the one and now we drove by today and they changed it so now you will be getting it next time because this week we will go and take a picture of it! It is way funny this time! So you want to know how we did the matrix pictures huh? Well I can't tell you or I would have to shoot you! Just tell your dad that I will tell him how it works in 2 years LOL. So you asked if I miss Elder Moench. Well the answer is NO! Not at all, in fact I pretty much wanted to kill him before we got to Spokane! He all of a sudden got really super annoying and it was because he became district leader. For some reason, even though in the MTC all the DL does is get mail, he let it get to his head. He thought he had all the power in the world and it got to the point to where he would disagree with everything I said and want to argue just to argue. I would try to ditch him and it would make him mad LOL! Oh well...So I have no idea where he is serving, and I mean he is a way cool kid I just don't want to be his comp... So I have learned that missionaries aren't perfect and it doesn't mean all that much when some of them one day get to tell people that they are an RM. I wont go into detail on that but I will say that I am glad that I am with my comp! He still wants to work and he follows all the rules! But as soon as I get some other hoser I might have to kill him! But we have decided that we ( me and elder Clyde) are going to hang out all the time when I get back. So I hope you like his wife! :) hint hint... and I am going to become a cyclist! The tallest cyclist in the world! Sweet huh! I hope you are as excited as me! LOL! Ya we are pretty crazy! But I hope your week was great! Mine went really well! I hope you can read this mess too! LOL. So I make a shrine of all your pics while I write you! :) So please send me some more pics! We Are All Missionaries

HEY HAPPY FATHERS DAY DADIO!! hey so how was your fathers day?!?! in honor of you they gave out cookies to the fathers in sacrament and i grabbed some from one of the girls and ate em all :D lol so your going to have to buy me golf! oh goody! i will think about where i want to go! in fact i went golfing today! i shot a 50 on like the easiest course ever still par 35 but i mean it was mostly straight and meh whatever my clubs really super sucked! so you hate cutting stuff in huh? well just remember so spread the brush out and go really slow and have a little patience and it will turn out just fine! :D you are definitely going to have to send me pictures of it when you are done! lol so my comp did know elder Hobbs... i think he thinks he was a hoser cause he didn't say much about him.. lol i called elder Clyde a cornholer tho and he was like what does that mean i hole corn?!?! and i started laughing so hard! i was like yep that exactly what it means... lol and i always threaten to give him a flying Dutchman at night but i wont tell him what it is.. so anyways the other day i am laying on my bed before church and i am giving him crap and he gets all flustered and has an aunt Janet moment and goes "ima give you a swimming silverman!!!" and i started laughing so hard i was crying! wow it was so funny! he couldn't remember what it was called :D but ya i haven't actually given him one yet but I'm sure he will get one soon! but hey i hope you had a great fathers day! i love you so much i wish i could have kicked ur trash in golf for fathers day or something.. if ya miss me just have James whap ya or something.... I'm sure he will be up for it.. but hey the work is awesome out here.! we had a few people drop us this week which kinda sucks because you think they are progressing so well... but oh well.. the elect will listen so they will get another chance... MOM! !!!! hey hows it going?!?! how is the best job in the world coming along?!?! so i haven't heard or seen this blog the Shannon made for me? everyone mentioned it tho and she put it together AND its of me so it must be pretty sweet :D so how are ya mom? you enjoying life? i sure as heck hope so because it is so crazy to see people's lifestyles and all of their struggles that don't have the wonderful knowledge that we have! if anything my time here so far has made me appreciate everything that i know! and i am so thankful for that! and it is so true joy and happiness radiate its great to see strange looks on peoples faces and then a little smile come out while we are around them! me and my comp get along so great we have an awesome bond i guess. which is so cool because when you and your comp have a wonderful relationship then you can invite the spirit easier and it makes the work go so much smoother and so it makes me want to serve a mission with my wife some day because i don't know anyone that i could get along with better or be closer and more united too than my eternal companion! its so wonderful! this gospel is amazing! so reading your scrips i hope isn't a chore i hope it brings you a level of happiness that you cant even describe to others! because that's what its all about! mom i love you so much! you have taught me a lot! you and dad have been great examples to me! and i just want to say thanks to both of you! but i love you both so much!i took some more pics and i am sending them to Shannon so have her come show you them again or put them on the blog! there is this one church that always puts up funny signs and so we take pics of em! so i hope you like em! but don't worry about me i am doing great! i love you both and i love hearing from you! happy fathers day dad! take care both of you! and ill keep working hard! remember we are all missionaries! and if we set aside time everyday for the lord (read our scrips,pray,etc) then when we are challenged to stand up for what we believe in he will be right there with us and the spirit will put the words in our mouths! so don't be afraid! and be good examples! i love ya! take care! send me cookies!!!! lol

Missionary Madness

This Place is Amazing!

Hey! Wow this place is amazing! My comp is really cool! We get along really well. He is so funny! I can make him believe anything I want to...not that I should be practicing lying, but its too easy. His girlfriend got engaged when he was four and a half months out and its really weird cause she was 5 foot nothing, brown hair, tiny, going to school to be an elementary school teacher...etc. Its crazy and we do a lot of the same things...and so(we even use the same pens) he thinks that pres put us together to help me get through a dear john...when he got dear johned the guy marrying his girl called his apartment here in Spokane and rubbed it in his face...yeah he was a jerk and it set him back a little, but I do admire that he is still here and he works very hard! He really is awesome I couldn't ask for a better trainer! But since he has been out for 21 months he is going home soon. He lives in Logan, Utah and so I told him that in your letter you said no matter who my first comp is that you would hate them because you knew they were coming home before me and that you hate them and would not date them! LOL he believed me of course, but i told him J/K. Oh his name is Elder Clyde BTW. So I stopped by David and Jane's the first night we got here, we were staying over night at some neighbors houses, and I asked the guy driving us if he knew Dave or Jane Wilcox and he said he has only known Jane for a really long time, why? And so I told him. And he took us on a detour and we stopped by but just David and Izzy were there. But I'm not in their area. I am in North Spokane area and in the River Ridge Ward. I was hoping to get to see Piper! And Jane too because I know her a little better. But David was cool. It was funny he answered the door and I shook his hand and said hi to Izzy and asked if Jane was there and he gave me a pretty weird look and said "How do you know Jane?" LOL So I am really glad that you liked the flowers! So when we first got here we contacted a lady who Elder Clyde had tracked into earlier, and her name is Billie. She is an older lady and she is dying of liver failure. But she is really nice, and anyways, she says to us "yeah tomorrow is my birthday and I'm not going to see any of my family." and so we said well we will come by and see you. And the she says, "you will?" and we said Yes! And she said "oh that would be just great, I would love that, in fact I will get some cake and ice cream!" So we went and saw her the next day, and for her present we vacuumed her house and then sang her happy birthday and had cake and ice cream and taught her the first lesson. She was so thrilled and it was awesome. We have a return appointment for Wednesday. I think it Will go well. We also taught her about the priesthood and gave her a blessing and so I hope she gets feeling better. So my comp is pretty funny. He wanted to write you, so I told him to go ahead. I put some more pics in here... I hope you like them! Elder Clyde loved your cookies! You'll have to send some cookies again sometime! I loved them too BTW :) But I hope all is well with ya! You are so cute, I love pulling out your pics! Feel free to send more, and more, and more and more and even a little more! They never get old! Tell Maddie and Bailey that they are awesome and I loved their little letters! They are so cute. I wish I had more time to write...maybe I will write em next time! Anyways I love you so much!
