This Church is So True!

What's happenin? Well this week was pretty nuts! But I'm glad that you had fun in park city! I am so jealous that you got to hang out with Piper! She is so darn cute! Just like her aunt Shanna! So I think you would make a good lookin scuba diver! Who knew you could look so good in goggles? So I have a confession to make! Elder Clyde's b-day was the 14th, Monday, but because of it he got like 5 different cakes, and tons of candy and I gained FIVE POUNDS this week! Holy crap I'm a fatty! But don't worry I'm going on a diet! Okay, so I hope I can clear up the whole polygamy thing for ya. Polygamy was never a belief of our church, plural marriage was practiced by the people when God saw fit and commanded them to do so. But no polygamy/ go marry as many wives as you can ... is not how it worked at all. When plural marriage was practiced, you had to be called to have more than one wife by the first presidency, and you had to be well enough off that you could take care of more than one wife. So you could say it was accepted by the church because God saw fit that we needed it. But if Pres. Monson in the next conference comes out and says that plural marriage is okay again, then I'm coming home early! ha ha ha. J/k. Well I am proud of you for getting back on a horse after the horrible accident that broke your cute toes! So if Dave and Jane ever want to take us to lunch or dinner or something then just give me their number and we will call them. Even if they don't want to, then tell them to drive Piper up here and we will hang out with her :) LOL. Park city looks so stinkin fun! If you run off and get married then I'm going to park city with your fam while you stay home with your hoser husband :) Or if you wait for me then we can go have fun together! You have an awesome family! Tell Maddie and Bailey Hi from me, I feel bad that I haven't had a chance to write them back! Okay, so I love getting packages from you, but I am gaining weight, so please hold off on the treats until I get it under control...LOL I can't gain weight because then I'll have to buy new clothes! So I have a funny story that I think you'll enjoy. We just started teaching this lady named Trena, and we are sitting on her couch one day, and we asked her if there was anything we could do for her, and she replied,"yeah, pray to get rid of our head lice!!!" Oh my goodness I have never jumped up from a couch so fast in my life! LOL it was hilarious! So that picture with the goggles is pretty good! I went and bought a tape recorder, so I'll be making you a tape now :) Hopefully I will be able to send it out next week! So make sure, even though I know you are, to save my letters and e-mails because my journal is really struggling! I have no time to write in it! Its crazy, but the first part of my mish will have to be recorded by letters. I am excited for the baptism this week, and I will let you know how it goes! Keep sending me pics of you :) So when are you coming to Spokane? Are you driving up? Let me know dates and things, not because we will be seeing each other but I am curious. I can't wait to stand in the back of that family picture and tower over everyone! How is your church journal coming? Better Late than Never!

well hello? how are you both doing eh?? sounds like your pretty busy out goofing around shopping and golfing all the time... i feel so bad for you! :D jk lol wow so sorry we didnt get a chance to email yesterday... it was nuts we went to help pour concrete in a garage for the same member that we bucked the hay for and anyways they poured it on just dirt...and they wet it down before like just a little bit kinda like how you would wet down a baseball field and then poured on top of it with the sun beating on half of it and so the dirt sucked the moisture out of it from one side and the sun from the other and it was freaking dry in like 25-30 minutes! it was nuts so because of that we had to try to finish it by hand and smooth it out a little but it wasnt freaking working... i mean we were walking out onto it and rewetting it to smooth it out.. you should be able to walk on it! lol so our little 2 hour project turned into like 4 and a half.... ya it freaking sucked but then we had just enough time to go home show and change to go play golf with a guy who lives in elder clyde's last area and ya so then after that we barely made it in enough time to our dinner appointment and then it was too late to email after that since we ate dinner at like 7 and then they wanted to play a game called righteuos its like the BoM version of scene it... its pretty fun! it was Elder Clyde's birthday yesterday. Monday. and so i swear the last 4 or 5 days we have had cake! they even announced it in relief society as an offical announcement and so the whole freaking ward knew about it and so they tried to get us as fat as they could and i freaking gained 5 lbs no joke! so i am on a diet! so mom hold off on sending me cookies please :D lol! well ya so yesterday was crazy! but anyways the work is going great! we have a baptism this friday. its a 79 year old man and he is going to die soon! he is in really bad shape and has been prolonging his baptism for a while i guess he was on date in april but has been moving it back but he is scared he is going to die before but anyways his family came into town (which is what he was waiting for) and they arent members but hopefully they will support him in his decision... but i wouldnt be surprised if he died a few weeks after the baptism... and then last week we started teaching a girl named Trena she is like 37 years old (she claims anyways i think she is like 50) but we put her on date for the next week so the 26th i believe... but ya so things are going good and hopefully we will get one more this month! our area rocks! i love the people here! they are so great! we were riding our bikes the other day and a car drove by and threw pennies at us and they hit my comps bike and so we stopped and picked em up and kept them! :D lol we were like hey thanks.. well transfer calls were on saturday and we both survived! im staying! can you believe its already been 1 transfer?!?!? only 16 more to go :D HAHAHA! but ya now Elder Clyde is district leader and so he is going to be sending me out on exchanges twice a week! lame!!! but oh well that exchanges arent that bad.. plus i can beat up on the old farts.. or the apostate missionaries! lol anyways! I did infact get the shoes and socks and pants that you sent me mom! thank you so much! concrete really would have sucked in my basketball shoes!!! but anyways i got pictures of the house and it looks great! you did a fabulous job on the colors mom! and you did a good job putting in all together dad! my room looks a little out of place now lol but oh well! it wont be my room for long when i get back! lol jk mom! :D dad go get mom a tissue... lol i love you guys so much! thank you for all of your support and prayers! this is seriously the happiest time of my life i love serving others! there is nothing better! take care of yourselves and dont get hurt! Well hello there !

How are you doing? How was Park City? I am so jealous that you got to hang out with Izzy and Piper! I hope you had a wonderful time with them. Tell Dave and Jane to come take me to dinner some time, I would absolutely love that! Well, don't TELL them to, but tell them that if they would like to they absolutely can! So on the 4th there was a big missionary get together in E. Clyde's old area and so we went to that and there was about 40 or so missionaries there and we had a basketball tourney in which we split off in teams of 4v4 and played. Of course we ended up winning the entire thing! :) It was so fun and then we went over to some members house and they fed us hot dogs and hanburgers! After that we went and visited a bunch of people that E. Clyde hadn't seen in a while. So we ended up in Airway Heights, which is a white trash town to be nice. Well anything goes there as far as fireworks! So its a pretty amazing show from about 8 until 1 in the morning I guess thats when they stop LOL its nuts. I've never seen so many fireworks and drunk people in my life! :) But we got to see a few fireworks, not too many since we had to be in by 10, but it was really fun. Those glasses you got me are really freaking awesome, but when it is really dark and you turn them on you can't see anything because its too bright. I swear it would "burn you blind" if you left them on too long! :) I'm glad that you don't get so nervous about playing the piano in primary I mean it would have to be easier around people of your same height! :) HE HE :) Well I'm just kidding LOL! I missed taylorsville days so bad it almost killed me! The thought of us cuddling on a blanket while ash was falling in our faces just made me miss it so bad! Well I'm going to have to tell you even though I don't really want to because you will use it against me later that your hair short is pretty freaking cute! :) I love you no matter what! You'd look great bald! But I really do like it short! :) Okay, so about the music for my blog, I want you to put some rap or hip hop on there that reminds you of me! Like "Goodies" that we listened to on the way to and from that region dance in my bro's truck! :) Well I haven't gained any weight thank goodness! Cause I eat 10 times more but we bike a lot and especially up a nice big hill most mornings! But no, I'm still 210 :) I do appreciate you being worried about my safety :) even though most crazy people here are meth heads and you can just knock them over. They are weak sause :) LOL No but I am in a good area with no reason to worry! Worrying is a branch off of fear and God is not the author of fear and so everytime you worry just read your scrips and say a prayer and you will kow that I am ok! I do develop my pics also at Walmart so I am a regular too! Its funny everywhere we go people think we work there :) This morning at Walmart 3 different people asked us where stuff was as if we worked there, so we told them. We do what we can :) I hope you like the pics, I didn't take many this week, in fact the horse one I took while bailing hay. Anyways, thank you so much for the package, I hope you stay obsessed with sending me stuff! :) I love you so much and hope everything is going good for you! Remember I love you! so whats going on?!?!?! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!! we got a p-day on Friday and i wanted to email you and tell you happy b-day for Saturday but the library was closed and so i didn't get a chance but i hope you had a wonderful birthday! you are just getting so old now i don't know what we are going to do!!! oh well we will figure something out :D so did you end up getting irons for your b-day or no?!?! I'm glad Shannon sent you a card! she is so nice! sorry i didn't send you nothing... except an email! lol so Crockett is going to be your new home teaching partner eh? that's cool.. he will be a good one.. I'm tellin ya you should just throw away your teaching manuals for yo ung men and bust out Preach My Gospel and teach out of that! it is amazing! it is seriously scripture! put together by the 12. it has so much amazing stuff in it and nothing would prepare them more for a mission and nothing would help them understand the gospel better too.. there is plenty of stuff in there you could even use for home teaching instead of the lazy way of using the first article in the ENZEN! :D but i hope you had a wonderful birthday! and yes i am still golfing! just with a pile of joy clubs though so i suck but its great because everyone sucks like 50 times worse than me so to them i am tiger woods :D lol today we went disk golfing... it was way freaking fun and didn't even take long at all... maybe you should try it out! oh so every year there is hoop fest that goes on here it is the biggest nation wide 3v3 tourney. but we we rent allowed to go so on the 4Th we put together a missionary hoop fest and there were like 40 or so missionaries that played and we played 4v4 and we freaking trashed everyone!!! lol it was great or championship game we won 15-3!! lol it was awesome and now i guess I'm not so green cause a lot of people know me now :D oh and ya i dunked (with ease) a few times for ya :D almost an ally-oop in a game it was awesome we were killing them and i went baseline and jumped but the guy threw it a half a second too late and so i caught it on my way down or else it would have been way sweet... but i haven't lost any of my hops at all because we bike so much that my legs got stronger since i left :D and we play ball every Tuesday night... and so i can still throw down with 2 hands ez pz. :D but for the fourth afterwards we had a big bbq at this family's house in elder Clyde's old area and it was way fun and then we went to airway heights and saw a few people but it is the craziest thing i have ever seen from like 8pm-1am it is the biggest trai ler park firework show in the world! they block off a huge park and stuff 50 million drunk hicks in it and give them all 500 artillery shells and 500 roman candles each and they have a big war! lol its nuts! i seriously have never seen anything like it! when we come back to Spokane when i get home we will have to be here on the 4Th! lol :D but it was fun to get out and meet some other missionaries and kick their trash... so mom i am glad that you are finally doing something at work! :D i got yours and Shannon's package! and those cookies are awesome! i haven't got the shoes yet but i dont know when you sent them out.. but thanks for sending them! i need em so bad :D speaking of shoes! my 200 dollar pair is coming apart already lol! nothing a little shoe glue wont fix :D i was going nuts on my bike and rubbed it on something i don't even know but i thought it was funny since i spent 200 dollars on them and i have only been here for a litt le over a month.... lol ok so update on the crazy lady that we moved all of her stuff to her front yard... well on saturday we went back over there cause she was going to move and what not have a big truck there and everything hrrrrrp... so her stuff has sat out for a week and a half now.... OK we get there and she says oh well guys i have bad news.... the place that i was going to didn't accept me because my doctors didn't get my meds in line or some crap i dunno... so we are going to have to move all the stuff back... we are like OK fine cause 6 other people showed up to help us this time! so we moved her leather couch back in the house that was trashed.... i almost cried until we moved the brand new $5,000 piano back inside that was ruined and didn't even work...(electric piano) then i started to cry... :D i was just shaking my head and going what the freak.... so now those 2 things are back in the house and all of her clothes are out in her garage.. along with everything else... so if she wants to wear something else she has to walk to the back of her house to her garage and get it.... oh well so she wont be moving for like a couple months now... so we thought oh great we are done with her now... the next morning Sunday morning she calls at 5:20 am and 6:07 am! as soon as you think they are gone they pull you right back in!!!!! lol you cant escape the crazies!!! :D well everything is going awesome! we have interviews tomorrow at district meeting... but its great when you actually work you don't sweat interviews lol there are some people in our district really not looking forward to it lol! but anyways i hope everything is going great for you guys! i love you so much! everything is wonderful here and full of excitement! i cant wait to bring you guys here and show you how beautiful this place is! wow! it is so amazing! i dontknow how i got the chance to come here but I'm loving it :D thank you for your prayers! and keep reading your scriptures! not watching 24! although that can be addicting! :Dlol well i love you guys thank you so much for all that you do for me!

The Mail Came Early!

Hey you cute little thing! Thank you for your sweet little letter and those pics of my fam! Eva is so darn cute! But I wouldn't mind at least one pic with ya know... YOU in it! :) You're so dang cute that I think you should send a million pics a week of you! I mean, I'm not saying that my dad flipping me off with a brush while in his painting clothes isn't cute! LOL No, I really enjoyed them! Thanks! So this week was crazy crazy crazy! I wrote most of it to my parents though so I'm sure you have already read that. But we did have a baptism on Saturday and it was amazing! I ended up speaking about the Holy Ghost and it was very awesome. Cason was confirmed on Sunday and E. Clyde did that also. It was awesome because Sunday was the big bring your friend to church day. That sacrament meeting was so good! Wow! It just focused on Christ, which is the way it should be. We ended up with 5 of our investigators there and 1 of them was a girl named Jasmin. She went to girls camp this week and she sang in Sacrament meeting with the young women! It was so cool to see a non-member get up and participate in sacrament. Then we found out that the day before she went to girls camp she told her mom that she wanted to be baptised! Her mom said that it was a good and honorable thing, and she wants her to, but she wants her to wait a little bit and think about it. Unless she feels the need to do it sooner! So we are working on it :) But the thing is before when we taught her, we taught the restoration and the commandments, and never once mentioned baptism. So I know with all my heart that if you create an atmosphere where the spirit can be present then no matter what you teach, the spirit will teach them what they need to know! The girl in the picture that E. Clyde is doing her hair is Wendy. Wendy and Jasmin are cousins, but Wendy is less active, and so we have been teaching them together and we hadn't mentioned anything once again, but Wendy came right out and asked us if she should get a different job so that she can go to church because she works on Sunday. She tells us that every time she reads and studies the BOM that is all she thinks about! So it is amazing how the spirit guides and works on people! I seriously freaking love being out here! I am so glad that I am here and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! Its so fun to just always be serving others! But anyways, yes the Brennan's dog is a mastiff...they have 3 of them! Its crazy! But the other 3 dogs(Molly, Katie, and Becky) are the Brough's doggies. They are so cute! But sure we can still get a great Dane as long as he doesn't try to eat you! LOL So we get our P-day on Friday and a bunch of missionaries from E. Clyde's last area are getting together so we are going to go and have a 2v2 companionship basketball tourney! I know that we are going to freaking slaughter anyone that we play! :) It is going to be so much fun! So one of these days I will start a tape! Don't worry, it will come, but you have to send me pics of you with the grapes before I will start it! :) Gotcha! How's that for a bribe! LOL well I love you so much! I really like the washing your car pics! They are my favorite so far! Send me more pics! Let me know if you get that job and how school is going for you! I love you! We can do this!

Service, Service, Service!

Hey! How are you guys?!?! Its good to hear that the house is finally coming along! I hope you send me some pics! Or shanni does anyways :D Oh wow so this week was way fun! I have more funny stories! :D But this morning we bucked hay!16 tons of hay! It was so freaking fun! But ever since we painted, the lady we painted for wanted to see if she could wash the paint out of my pants and so she has had my pants and so Ibucked hay in shorts! So I have scratches on my arms and legs and my facebecause I wanted to see how high I could throw one and we had already had a placethat was 6 rows high and I wanted to see if I could do 7 and so when I lifted itup it started to slip and so I caught it with my face :D I got it up there so it was worth it! It probably weighed about 90-100 lbs. Most of them were 80-85 but this one was a little wet so it was a little more heavy. But ya that was a really good workout and now I can say that I have bucked hay! OK so my funny story of the week! This lady calls us, she has been a member for a little over a year. She is moving and wants our help. Well we are pretty much pro movers by now and so we said sure and we went over there on Thursday... she says OK now I am really good at moving and I only want to do this once and so we have to do it right the first time.... we are like sweet. so her lawn is divided by a concrete path going to her front door... she says everything I am keeping goes on the right side and everything that is going in the yard sale goes on the left side.... simple enough. So we start moving stuff and there is me and elder Clyde and her nephew.. and so we move all her stuff out on the lawn (her piano, leather couch,all her clothes, 3 Tiffany lamps, every freaking thing she owns) except a bed and a TV. Then we get all the yard sale stuff on the other side. Well after we do all this come to find out she is trying to get in an assisted living place that she wont know if she is accepted until Monday.... and then she wont be moving until tomorrow.(Tuesday) That's a pretty long time to have everything you own out on your front lawn especially when you invite everyone over for a yard sale and then yell at them that half of the lawn isn't for sale and so they turn around and leave! LOL OK so the story gets even better! We go over the next day (Friday) to get a few more things brought out for the yard sale for her and imagine this, her neighbors sprinklers came on and soaked everything... her piano and leather couch... etc.. and she goes ya we got a little rain! We laughed but we felt a little bad So we wiped down the piano and stuff and covered it with tarps, but I mean holy crap! Oh well it was funny :D We also helped 2 more people move this week and I painted some more... so ya 3 moves 1 paint job and 16 tons of hay make for a pretty good week :D So parents if you get crazy and do things like this Iam just going to have to put you out of MY misery. :D Well I am glad that youare both doing well! If I was to have you send me something it would be my workshoes either the ones I wore while painting with Dave or the ones I wore hunting.It doesn't matter. And like 3 more pair of my white gold toe socks! We do a lot of service :D If i kept those crappy navy pants I had you could send those too... but no big hurry I am doing fine :D I love you both so much! We had a baptism! It was amazing and I ended up speaking on the holy ghost! Which went well. We were actually combined with another baptism, and they invited the kids to the front like they always do, and they did the first one and one of the kids stood up to walk back and they said wait there is one more and so he went to turn back around and fell and ALMOST face planted in the water! lol One of the witnesses caught him by the back of the shirt :D That would have been way funny tho :D But anyways I love you guys so much and I think about you and pray for you all the time too! Thank you for your prayers! I love hearing from you! I got a few pics of you that are way funny! My comp goes why is he flipping you off? I said oh that's my dad! :D he wouldn't understand if I explained it to him :D I guess his family must be normal or something and they don't do that. I dunno :D They are missing out in my book :D Well everything is going good and I am excited to see the final on the house! I picked a good den color! he he! It just brings the blue out of the wood !!!!!(that ones for James!) Well anyways I love you so much take care and I will talk to you maybe Friday cause they only
gave us 2 hours of p-day today and then on Friday we get the whole day for p-day!
